Phygital objects are things that have parts that are both physical and digital, but that have not simply had some digital functionality embedded within them but are
connected device that exist in both virtual and physical space. Good examples of this are Skylanders game characters, that exist in both real and virtual worlds by the process of transporting through a portal. Or what is really happening, the player places their character on a special pad that reads which character has been placed upon it and then shows them in the game. This connection between the physical and the digital world, is one which we believe will help bring the stories collected here to life.
