Our stories

Since the project started in April 2015, the Stories2Connect research team has been very busy working with children and young people, writers, illustrators, animators and digital designers to create fictionalised stories to connect with a wide range of different people.

We hope that you enjoy the stories, and learn about some of the challenges and triumphs in the lives of the children and young people that have participated in the project as researchers, authors and storytellers.

In an extension of the Stories2Connect project, we worked with deaf young people in Indonesia to tell their stories.

Together with storytellers and animators they made three wonderful fictionalised stories.

You can watch these short animations here, in Indonesian Sign Language with subtitles in English.
