Dance with a Difference was inspired by the life story of a young woman who shared some of her experiences of living with autism with young researchers at a Stories2Connect story-telling event. After the event, the project team re-worked transcripts of these conversations into an animation brief. UCLan animation students, Max Jordan, Kenny Dean, Natalie Jeffers and Richard Fisher then worked together to produce a short animation as part of their undergraduate coursework. Their 30-second animation aims to connect with a wide audience and highlights how dance can help people to navigate a variety of challenges in their lives.
